The Year 11s in Paris were up and going at 7am this morning; nice breakfast and made their own lunches.
Compulsory snap at the Eiffel Tower before lunch at the Louvre. One more stop at the Sacre Coeur before DISNEY this evening.
All pupils doing brilliantly!
Day 1 finishes with a lovely evening by the campfire playing charades, making up stories and melting marshmallows.
I think there’s a few very ready for bed!

The Year 11 Residential to Paris is well underway and on time.
Some pupils have found the outside deck and taking in the sea air!
We had a very exciting visitor from HMP Exeter prison for Year 9’s Crime and Punishment, a topic about how crime and punishment has changed.
As part of Year 9’s Crime and Punishment topic, we went to visit the Dartmoor Prison Museum in Princetown. Located yards from the iconic Dartmoor Prison itself, the museum is based in the old prison farm dairy where the prisoners used to work, and the milk was sent to the local Ambrosia factory.
Combe Pafford School recently welcomed the talented Kitty Stuart, a musician from Glastonbury, for a lively and entertaining visit.
For the 80th Anniversary of D-Day, children from Middle School represented Combe Pafford School at Beacon Quay, Torquay, where Torbay came together to remember those who sacrificed everything 80 years ago as they landed at beaches across Normandy to begin one of the largest invasions in human history.
