Our current capacity in the Sixth Form is 60 full-time students, although due to the staggered nature of the work placement days, students are rarely all in at the same time. We welcome applications from Year 11 students here at Combe Pafford School and elsewhere. The primary area of need requirement on the students' EHC Plan is currently Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), although some students may also have Autism, Physical Difficulties or other areas of need.  Applications are made through the Local Authority and annual review process.

Students who are allocated a place by the Local Authority are given the opportunity to choose from one of the three pathways in the Sixth Form:

• Ready for Work Pathway 
• Developing Independence for Work Pathway 
• Or our Developing Aspirations for Life Pathway

Students may stay in the Sixth Form for up to two years. Student progress is monitored and reviewed each year at the students’ annual review, to which all relevant parties are invited.
