We’re thrilled to share what a fantastic day we had at the Neon Run. Our students were absolutely exceptional and represented Combe Pafford School with pride and enthusiasm.

From the moment we arrived, the energy was high — and so was the pace! One of our students, Lacie, certainly kept us on our toes as she powered through the 5k route with determination and a big smile.

Our Year 10 mentors did a brilliant job supporting the Year 7 pupils, showing real maturity, encouragement, and care throughout the day. It was especially heartwarming to see some pupils who sometimes struggle with sport and trips of this kind, fully engaged and clearly enjoying themselves.

A huge well done to the pupils who originally signed up for the 2k run but decided to push themselves further and completed the full 5k — an incredible achievement! 

Of course, a massive shout-out goes to our fantastic Teaching Assistants, who truly brought the fun — running, walking, dancing, and cheering their way through the event. And yes, they were absolutely covered in neon paint by the end! They made a real difference to the day and will be receiving certificates for their effort and energy.
