4G - Thursday 17th to Friday 18th June 2010

This year 4G are going to stay at Rora House in Liverton, a Christian centre on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.

We will be staying for one night and will be full board.

We will leave school on Thursday 17th after registration and returning to school in time for bus lines on Friday 18th June.

On Thursday we will begin by taking our luggage to Rora House (so the children know where they will be sleeping). We will have a snack and then go on a trip for the day.

We will return to Rora House in time for a cooked meal in the evening followed by games before bed.

On Friday we will have breakfast and will be provided with a packed lunch. We will again go out for the day and then return to school at about 3pm.

5T - Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th June 2010

5T are going to stay at Broadleas, which is right by Haytor on Dartmoor.  It is a lovely location and the accommodation is basic but clean and adequate.

This is often the first time children have stayed away from home and we aim to make it a pleasant experience.

We will do most of our own catering - with the children being as involved as possible.  We will go out on trips for both educational and recreational purposes.

We will leave on Monday 14th June and will return on Wednesday 16th June in time for school transport.

Parents will be sent a clothing list.

6W - Wednesday 21st - Friday 23rd April 2010

This year 6W are extremely lucky to be going to Heatree Activity Centre on Dartmoor for our residential visit. Heatree is set in the middle of Dartmoor, close to Hound Tor, and has its own extensive grounds. The centre has superb accommodation and offers a wide range of outdoor activities tailored to suit the needs of the children. 

The centre is fully staffed by qualified instructors and they lead all the activities which take place at the centre. These include activities such as assault courses, pond dipping and archery. 

We will leave for Heatree on Wednesday 21st April and return to school in time for transport on Friday 23rd April. Further information to follow.
