Sixth Form

In this page:

The curriculum offer in the Sixth Form has been steadily evolving to provide a broad range of provision to accommodate and match the needs of students of varying abilities. It follows the whole school model of promoting progress in three broad areas:

  • ACADEMIC
  • WORK-RELATED
  • PERSONAL & SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT

Whilst challenging students to develop greater independence in all areas in line with our vision of preparing students for a rewarding adult life, and where possible, into voluntary work, training or paid employment. Classes are mixed age across Years 12-14 and there are three routes or programmes which students can access, depending on their maturity, independence and readiness for work. Students can progress and transfer to other routes when it is appropriate to do so, or indeed leave the sixth form if they secure employment or an apprenticeship. Click on the buttons below to explore the different routes.
