The transition from Primary to Combe Pafford is important in the lives of children and their families. We take this responsibility very seriously and aim to have a very positive and proactive transition process that ensures all new members of our school experience the best possible start.

The current strategies employed by Combe Pafford to help support your child’s transition include:

• visits to schools by prospective teachers
• visits to our school for students and their parents
• new pupil information presentations
• buddy taster days
• induction day

We are regularly evaluating and refreshing our transition offer so that the move from primary school to us is the very best it can be.
