Lifeworks 2019-20 Programme

EVENT OVERVIEW

Breaking the Barrier Surfing events, at Bigbury-on-Sea are designed to give learning disabled young people the chance to experience a free one-to-one surfing session with a specialist instructor using specialist boards. Group lessons are also available for the accompanying parent, carer or sibling.

There is also a cycling element, led by Freetrike and our young volunteers

Cycling at Torbay Velopark: A range of bikes, trikes and tandems plus coaching support from Freetrike Disability Cycling and support from Lifeworks staff and volunteers will make it easier for you to participate as a family.

The events are great fun, helping young people to build their confidence and learn a new skill at the same time.
