Year 11's visit Haynes Motor Museum

Haynes Motor Museum

On Wednesday the 13th June Jon Bromfield and Robin Evered took some Year 11 students who are currently studying an ABC motor vehicle qualification for a trip to the Haynes Motor vehicle Museum at Sparkford. After a long journey we finally arrived and were greeted by some very helpful and knowledgeable staff from the Museum. We had a quick look around then had a presentation about Mr John Delorean and the history of the Delorean car, which many of you might have heard of, as this was the car that was used in the Back to the future films. We then walked around the museum looking at some expertly restored cars from the past. The highlight of the day for the students was sitting in a £140,000 Ferrari California. I opened my wallet and tried to put a £10.00 deposit on the car but was politely refused.

We then had lunch and a look in their well-stocked shop, before making our way into Devon and back to Combe Pafford.
